Iwonna was born of Polish parents in Bristol, UK and has taught English and business skills in Barcelona since 1989. She has a BA in English and Drama, and an MA in Communication Studies from Goldsmith’s College, University of London, and the CELTA and RSA Diploma for teaching English from International House. She is currently working for NELC, Euroaula, University of Tourism as well as La Salle. Previously, she taught at ESADE’s former Executive Language Center, SEI-EIM at the University of Barcelona, as well as the Open University of Catalonia.
Iwonna also has a total of 8 years’ experience as a Director of Studies in Barcelona, specializing in in–company language coaching. Together with Margaret O’Keeffe, she has co-authored various course book titles and materials for Pearson Education including Market Leader Advanced, English for International Tourism and Lifestyle Intermediate. In her free time she enjoys not going to the gym, and singing with Cor Gospel de Gracia.
