Nathalie started teaching French in 1990, when she had barely arrived in Barcelona one year ago. Soon, she started teaching in business environments, having students from all job levels and departments. Over time, she specialized in teaching executives, to whom she provided a pragmatic and solid approach of learning. This specialization did not prevent her from teaching a wide variety of profiles, from senior people to groups or individuals.
Her teaching philosophy is based on creating a confidential environment with her students and that is what let them be more predisposed to learning and to overcoming their fears when expressing themselves in a foreign language. When teaching groups, she seeks everybody’s participation by highlighting student’s strongest skills. When teaching individuals, she adapts to the self-interest of students to facilitate their evolution.
Another pillar of her method is consolidating the language’s basics and introducing new concepts when is easier to understand them. She feels herself completely integrated in Barcelona, city where she arrived to learn Spanish and then, she discovered that has another language: Catalan (in which she is able to express herself fluently). In her free time, she combines sports with cuisine, cultural activities and reading.
