It was in 2009, during her stay in Brighton (UK), that an English friend asked her to teach her Spanish. At first, she thought that she had no idea of how she was going to do that, however, she discovered that she loved teaching from the first day. When another friend asked for the same, she accepted without reservations.

Since then, she has not stopped teaching ELE (Spanish as a foreign language), whether face-to-face or online, to groups and individuals.

When she started teaching as a job, she decided to enrich her knowledge by taking courses at Instituto Cervantes of London which she found essential to improve the structure of her classes and to resolve doubts related to grammar and teaching methodology.

Nowadays, she’s in a group of ELE teachers that meet regularly to discuss education-related ELE issues from the perspective of cognitive grammar.

In 2017, she came back to Barcelona, and now lives in Roses, on the Costa Brava, so her classes are mainly online. Most of her students live in the UK, in Brighton and in other areas.  In addition, she has students from different parts of the world like Northern Ireland, Germany, Chicago, Texas, Poland, France and Barcelona. She loves forming  relationships with people all over the world and her big passion is Argentinian tango. She loves listening to it and watching it, but what she loves the most is dancing it. She also enjoys the beach, walking by the sea, hiking, reading and her cat Tana.
