Originally from (allegedly) sunny South-East England, Dawn moved to Barcelona in 2014 for even more sun! Prior to that, she studied English and Hispanic Studies at the University of Birmingham and the Universitat de València. This year abroad in Spain, combined with a trip to India teaching English at a school in Bangalore, cemented Dawn’s love for languages and learning about different cultures. After the completion of her degree in the UK, she decided to accept the lure of España and return.
On arrival in the Catalan capital, Dawn trained as a TEFL teacher and successfully completed a Diploma in Translation. During the last nine years, she has worked with many companies all over Barcelona specialising in Business English, translated and edited books on art and celebrity cooking, as well as collaborating on entrepreneurial educational projects in schools, with a focus on self-development.
In her free time, Dawn enjoys exploring the wonderful world that Barcelona and beyond has to offer, eating and drinking along the way (in moderation, naturally!).
