Originally from a Human Resources background in London, Carla realised her passion was teaching after doing some voluntary teaching in South America. Shortly after, in 2006, she came to Barcelona to complete her Oxford teaching qualification and has stayed in the city teaching ever since. She started specialising in teaching Business English in 2012 giving both face-to-face and online classes.
She has taught courses in ESADE and Escola d’Idiomes Moderns and collaborates with corporate language schools teaching Business English in various companies throughout Barcelona. She has also worked as a Teacher Co-ordinator and is a qualified Cambridge Speaking Examiner for the First Certifcate. She enjoys working with students on various business-related skills as well as producing materials based on current, authentic topics.
She lives in the centre of Barcelona and enjoys spending her free time in the city with her family. She is a passionate reader and you will find her glued to a book every night. She also enjoys cultural activities and walking in the surrounding green areas.
