We have some good news and some bad news: which would you like first? The bad news is that you can’t become fluent in English overnight, but the good news is that if you persevere, there will come a moment when you don’t need to translate everything in your mind nor read the subtitles of films.

If you want to make a difference to your English in 2016, you have come to the right place. Take a look at the great range of courses that NELC can offer you this winter. No matter the time you have, we have a course designed for you.

Our most popular courses are the Expand & Advance Tracks. These are the best option if you want to increase your English level. If you don’t have time during the week, we recommend the Fast Track. This is the quickest way to improve your skills and abilities in English and you only need to come to class on Friday evenings and Saturdays mornings.   On the other hand, if you have 5 or 6 hours during the week, we would suggest either the Morning Track, two mornings a week or the Afternoon Track, two afternoons a week or the Evening Track, two evenings a week. These are semi-intensive courses designed for professional people, who may not have much time but who want to learn practical English that they can use in their work or study environment.

If you feel quite comfortable with your English level at the moment but you need to improve your communication skills, the Practise & Improve courses could help you to achieve that objective. One day a week is all you need to improve your speaking fluency, pronunciation and communicative competence on our Speaking course. If you specifically want to improve your communication skills for meetings, presentations, negotiations and socialising in business, don’t waste time! Our Executive English courses start on 15th January. These courses are specially designed for those of you who need to use English at work and who want to be well-equipped for this challenge.

More good news: in 2016 we are launching some new courses. Check out our Masterclasses. Here, the focus is on one specific area over five sessions, specially-designed for professional people with little free time and a minimum level of B2. Each Masterclass helps you to overcome any obstacles you might have in carrying out your professional role in English. Meetings focuses on everything that happens before, during or after a work meeting, so that you feel more confident, more accurate and more fluent when you take part in this activity in real life. In Negotiations we concentrate on developing the techniques needed to turn you into an effective negotiator, taking into account the style and stages of a typical negotiation. Finally, Presentations is a highly participative workshop where your objective is to increase your fluency and self-confidence in front of an audience. You’ll also learn how to structure your presentation, making it more attractive and effective.

So, this New Year, ask the ‘3 Kings’ to bring you the English course that best suits your needs, and leave the rest to us!
